Pika Blending in with the Rocks

This pika at the Rock Cut overlook on Rocky Mountain National Park's Trail Ridge Road is difficult to see because it is small, darts from rock to rock and blends in so well. Pika's are related to the rabbit family and are an indicator species because they are susceptible to the heat and lack of insulating snow brought on by climate change.
